Render

The fabric arrived.  I’ve done some glue tests on a few MDF scraps.  I think it will hold sufficiently with 3M Super 77.  But the edges are going to need some reinforcement.  No matter what I try, I think the edges of the fabric will peel if not covered.  If not in a month, then in 5 years.  The current idea is to fold some thin sheet copper over the edges, somewhat like an edge protector on a crate.  This will cover up the fabric seams and add a little bump protection.  Below is a not-really accurate render.  The granite very well may be red, but it is poorly represented here.  The fabric is not accurately depicted either.  Why post such a misrepresentation?  Because this is my just-a-website and I want to.  And nobody is reading this.
