The fabric arrived. I’ve done some glue tests on a few MDF scraps. I think it will hold sufficiently with 3M Super 77. But the edges are going to need some reinforcement. No matter what I try, I think the edges of the fabric will peel if not covered. If not in a month, then in 5 years. The current idea is to fold some thin sheet copper over the edges, somewhat like an edge protector on a crate. This will cover up the fabric seams and add a little bump protection. Below is a not-really accurate render. The granite very well may be red, but it is poorly represented here. The fabric is not accurately depicted either. Why post such a misrepresentation?
